The company:

The start-up was formed in 2016 to provide first class services to local investors in southern Iran, with an attempt to build the renewable energy culture and encourage people to invest in the energy of the future. The company has been extremely successful taking into consideration the obstacles that exist in Iran due to sanctions and the political climate. The company proudly brought in the solid development and operational experiences from the USA to remote and less developed areas of Iran, mainly the provinces of Hurmozgan and Fars.

In Iran:
• Designed, developed and constructed more than 1,000 residential and commercial solar energy projects throughout the country in 4 years
• Developed and permitted 30MWs projects (3 projects, each with 10MW)
• Developed and sustained internal and external partnerships with investors, vendors and local communities, where low-income families can benefit from the program by generating income through long term secured feed-in-tariff contracts (PPA), selling electricity to utility companies.

In the USA:
As the president of Solar Planet Power, Ohio, the USA, the current executives of Khorshid Taban have achieved the followings:
• Successfully secured more than $100 million debt financing at a low interest rate
• Led Construction, Operation and maintenance team
• Completed 25 projects, a total of 30 MW of solar power plants, ranging from 400 KW to 4 MW
• Provided consultancy on 7MW of storage, tied to a 4.2MW of solar power
• plant to provide frequency regulation, required to stabilize the grid's frequency
• 100 MW of Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) negotiated
